Chateau Figeac, Saint- Emilion, 1er Grand Cru Classe 2009 Donnhoff and hints of sea sprayDeep coloured, almost opaque in the glass, the Chateau Figeac, Saint Emilion 1er Grand Cru Classe 2009 has a savoury entry with some stony minerality and a waft of smoke. Subsequently there are dark berries, blackcurrant leas, plum and a pinch of black pepper. The developed tannins are fine grained but still provide good structure; the finish is long, focused and streamlined. Equal proportions of Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon provide
