A highly spiced nose of very ripe plum, cassis and warm earth scents is followed by relatively fine, supple and lush medium bodied flavors that terminate in a robust, intense and overtly muscular finish that delivers excellent persistence. I very much like the depth and while not quite as structured as the Clos de Vougeot this will require an extended snooze in a cool cellar to realize its full, and considerable,
