East European Striped Blanket Throw long perfect for layering over neutralThis vintage blanket or throw comes from Eastern Europe and is probably Ukrainian. It measures 1. 4m wide x 1. 74m long (55inches x 69inches). The colours are warm red, aubergine, brown and grey. It has a twill weave and a soft silky feel to it. Use on the bed or the sofa, it can also be used for upholstery, to make cushions or bench seat covers. Woven on a narrow loom there is a join down the centre of the piece. Hemp and cotton.
