This is a lighter wine for the appellation but there is plenty of character and it’s focused like a laser

spice and mint add character to a wine that speaks to finesse more than pure power

with freshness but no greenness

Cain, Cain Five Vintage:2007 This is a lighter wineLot 7. Mid, very shaded garnet. Complex nose (and Im two thirds of the way through the tasting and this is the first time Ive used the word complex). Delicate and distinctive. Brooding and bloody. Round and rich. Just a little bit sweet on the end but a very good effort.
